I use a leaf blower to remove snow from the tops of my stack. I am too lazy take off and put on a cover, so this works quite well. It does not work for heavy wet snow, but most of the winter the snow we get is dry and fluffy, and it blows right off.
The one I got is a Ryobi model P2107 cordless or corded from Home Depot. I especially like the big on/off switch on top that is easy to use with gloves.
