That’s a great catch phrase for this forum- “see wood........differently”.
I love the smell of cherry. Especially when burnt in the bbq pit with some slowwly melting pork fat. Its too early to be this hungry.
The Cherry tree we felled is the first load (picture 1076) and the second smaller load is part of a branch that came off a rotten dead Cherry, it was getting late so there still are some of the bigger rounds left that will get split tomorrow.
I finished off a stack of 0.62 cord with the loads from today, I would've done more but part of the day was spent in town getting some last minute things done.
