Southern Minnesota
Went out to my uncle's farm and picked up a half load (4X8 trailer with sides). Looks to be cold at least another week here in southern Minnesota. I started burning late September and may keep going until May.

Yes. Burning! We may see 50 at some point this week, which would be a first this spring. Then again, we may not. :(

Still having to heat here though seems to be warming up quite a bit. Almost 40* right now

Started burning here in Nov, mid April and it's still cold enough to burn wood. If it keeps up like this I'll be burning til May..

It's Blaze King season, man. Get to work.

I won't get the King installed until summer, so its still burn tubes for me. In this weather, the Enerzone does a good job on my house. Its when it is Minnesota cold that it needs help.

Similar to my burn season.
I may need to "borrow forward" & use some 2013/14 wood ;)

We never figure on the burning season ending until mid-May here. For sure the last few weeks are light though. Today was the first really nice day we've had for over a week. It started out with sunshine and then some snow showers but then back to sunny and it really warmed up. 45 right now and 44 predicted for tonight! Sounds good to us.

Still burning, but I'm using some spruce and wood that's a little punky but dry; save the good stuff for next year if I can. Vegas in 2 weeks for a week, and by then hopefully I'll be down to a few fires a week rather than every night

Next 4 days are too warm 70-55 Next week we have 50s for highs 30 lows may get some partial burns. Dont need much output, junkmail alone might do it.

Been having a fire a day at night for past 4 nights with blower off.. Still comfy ;)

Good hot one in the morning that I let it go out. I have great southern exposure so my home warms comfortably during the day and with the days growing longer I typically am going to bed with a 70+ degree house and no fire. In the AM it is around 60-65 and I fire it up to take the chill off and repeat. Probably another week or two of this before I just man up and let nature do it all with 65 degree mornings in the house.

As much as I love this stuff I am ready for it to be over for 2013!!

Me too. 39F this morning, started a fire first thing. It's giving me an opportunity to burn up some funky poplar I have on hand.

What started out as a relatively mild winter here has turned into some cooler than normal spring weather that won't turn loose. It was supposed to be 78 yesterday, but I don't think we left the 50s. Rainy, cloudy, and downright cool. Make it stop!

I've got 12 pieces of wood left. that's it.... I think next Sat. its going down to 30 here so I'm saving until then. Let the pellet stove run.. I have 2 tons left anyway.

We're burning just as hard now as we have for most of the year. Mid 30s this morning. I envy you folks that are already warming up, it's not that I am sick of burning but I want to be camping and mowing the fields, ready for spring.

Cleaned out the stove last week thinking I was done, I should have known better turns out I'm not. Had a fire the other night and now its 68 in here and damp so going light one up. Plus I was cutting a load of red oak today and it was raining very lightly and I got a wet and still haven't thawed out from that

68f out, I just came in wearing shorts no shirt...the little lady has a fire going on.

-4c here right now with highs of freezing tomorrow and lows of -7c with a dusting of snow, looks like it will warm up towards the end of the week but I will be burning for awhile yet. Thats ok Ive had the stove off for two days since the fall and I didnt like how dark and cool my rec room was. My daughter and I took the dog for a walk in the bush today and scoped out some Larch that we will get as soon as we can drive on the back roads. My brother texted me from Vancouver and said hes already mowed his lawn a few times!

Last week I had to start burning 24-7 again. I was trying to only burn at night and use the heat from the day to get me through the daylight hours. But, due to lack of sun highs in the lower 40's is not enough to keep the house in the lower 70's. Sunday was blizzard conditions, now I hear another one if coming Wedsday-Thursday. In the cites they are worried about ice still being on the lakes for the fishing opener.

If it was 68::F outside I probably would be wearing shorts and swetting like a pig, especially after this last Fall, Winter, and the current Sprinter.

I'm definately still burning! We got 24" of snow last week and are supposed to get another 12" today and tomorrow:eek: Good thing I'm not short on wood>>

Lows are still dipping into the teens and 20's also.
