My rat dog just made me laugh, and I realized we have had a shortage of stove dogs on Hearth this year. Bring 'em on!

This is my 13 year old boxer. I’m afraid this will probably be her last winter with us. She still enjoys cooking herself though. I’ve always wondered how her fur doesn’t ignite. _g

Hey Boxer,

She just might surprise you ........

On a side note, what is the front clearance on that insert?

Here’s both my cats. Jasmine(black cat) is 16 years old and has spent many winters in front of stoves. This is her first winter in front of the sequoia. G2(orange cat) is enjoying his second winter with us. 2 pics each. 1 of each in front of our insert at last house and 1 of sequoia.

Merry Christmas all.

Am I the only one that has pets that have no interest in getting anywhere near the stove?

Sun shining in on the floor and both the arch enemies(dog and cat) will share the same square foot, but neither will get near the stove. lol
