The right wood stove for Newfoundland Canada winters

Hi there-I am in the process of researching what woodstove is right for me. I have a very drafty large century home that hasnt had heat (2 space heaters and lots of heated blankets in each room) for almost 10 years. I a older now and done with that. I need a stove. To tell you the truth I have been stuck on the Ultimate 15 by J.A.Roby and keep getting poo pooed by anyone i speak with. I want the biggest baddest cheapest-ish stove. Of course now I am doubting myself and find I am looking at the timber ridge 2400 and the drolet ht-2000 (which I find to be very ugly)
does anyone have experience here with these? think-my house is essentially a giant shed with rooms..no insulation and terrible windows and very crafty with a dirt basement..this is why the ultimate appeals to e-I might even consider the magnum except that there isn't one in my city and I'd have to order it-the ultimate is here at Kent's.

Thats what I think but I keep being advised otherwise-the claims by JA ROBY dont match the epa claims for btu and makes me nervous-the thing is a tank too

Lou there's a gentleman in Vermont who refurbishes Hearthstone 1 stoves which is a monster heater.Mine cost me $1200.00 and gives me 14 hrs of good heat.Check out the stove reviews on this stove.If you want his number post back to me.

Check out a rebuilt Vermont Elm wood stove, you are either going to love the looks or hate it. I think they made a 36" version that is a beast.

Do you have access to a Canadian Tire store? If so, look at the Englander stoves. Also consider a Drolet HT2000.

I didn't see any estimated burn times on the Ultimate/TOR, or the magnum.
