I'm installing a 1991 Jamestown J1000 and thought I'd do a simple through the wall installation in our cabin. I have the appliance adapter and elbow pushed up against the wall in the photo to measure for the thimble.
Jamestown does have this option as a recommended installation.
Is 8 inches from the floor ok?
It just looks close to the floor but could be totally fine. It's not really a safety concern just a general observation as it's my first install. The floor is cement.
Just thought I'd check in before cutting into the wall.
Thanks.
