well the weatherman says its gonna get down into the high 20's tonight here in central PA, maybe we'll finally get to build a nice fire instead of those warmer-uppers we've been building.....that temp combined with the cold rain/wet snow mix they are calling for kinda has me excited.......lol.....to fire the stove up, that is.....

Low tonight will be high 20's... She will be burning all night long, with a recharge in the morning. I may even keep her going all day Friday to avoid the cold start on Friday evening.

I hear ya.....we had a warm-up fire yesterday morning, wife put a billet or two on it before lunch......we let it go out and it was still a balmy 79 degrees in the master bedroom last evening WITH THE WINDOW FAN ON........lol....but you know what they say, if mom ain't happy, NOBODY'S happy....;-)

I put in 3 splits before going to bed. I was woke up during the night when my wife dug out a fan to blow some air around. She couldn't sleep because of the heat. This morning the stove top was down below 250 and it is really comfortable in here so I won't add any wood yet.
