I did bring in some very clean splits a few days ago. I moved about a cord from the driveway to the side of the house and today I cleaned the chimney and the inside of the stove and installed new fire bricks. I am as ready as one can be in mid September. They're calling for 47 degrees here tomorrow morning, but it's going to warm up to the mid 60's.

So still only ash in my stove:cool::ZZZ
 
We've had a couple frosts this week, but the ac still runs a bit in the evenings, so haven't lit the stove yet.

Not sure how much wood I'll burn this year, with current diesel prices it's pretty much cheaper to burn natural gas instead of hauling the wood home.
