Hi All,

Where is the best place to mount a wireless Tstat? And why?

Thanks!
Number 1...not too far from your receiver..ask me how I know...otherwise ideally I would place it at the point where I would want that temperature at...say if you want 72 where you sit on the couch so somewhere near there...also out of the a way of windows or other outside influences on the temp

My stove is at one end of the house. My thermostat is at the far end just outside the bedrooms.

What brand/ model wireless T-stats are you guys using?

Thanks, how far too you guys have the T-stat from the receiver? I'm looking at 30 to 35 feet.

Thats about how far away mine is.

I never wall mounted my Skytech, I keep it on a book shelf in the stove room and like to keep it near me on the couch when I'm watching tv to turn the stove up/down while I'm in the room. The Skytech only has a range of about 20 feet, so it can't be too far from the stove.

I have
Skytech 9800325 SKY-3301P2 and the range is only 20 feet as this poster mentioned....so basically it works fine but serves no special purpose being wireless
