Hey all! I posted a little while back about installing a jotul into by existing old masonry chimney (no existing clay flue). I managed to get a flexible ss liner that is insulated with the 1/2 blanket down the chimney and connected into the top of my wood stove. My issue is the liner seems to touch the chimney in a few locations. Is this a big no no?! Is the potential hazard heat transfer? I attempted the make the liner as straight as possible but is seems like it curves somewhere in the middle and comes in contact with the masonry. Thanks so much!

You're fine. With the insulation, it can touch the brick without concern. That's what it's for.
