Went up into the forest and obtained some small pine - about 1+ cord. It gave me a chance to test my new electric wheelbarrow. The verdict? It made things about 40 to 50% easier than if I had used a standard wheelbarrow. The wood is always 50' to 200' away. And ATVs/UTVs not allowed except on roads. And no log dragging, so this e-barrow is a good option. The e-barrow is easier to use going up hill as opposed to down hill. I'm glad I got it. It should come in handy sometimes. It is easy to load.

Wow that's pretty heavy duty looking underneath. Looks like the rear end out of an ATV. Would be fun to take it apart and make go cart hauler

I split just over a cord of all-nighters today composed of red and white oak. Some rounds around 26” heavvvyy…woke up some carpenter ants from their winter slumber too…
Can you spot the flying oak round? Fell off the beam as I was playing paparazzi 😂

I ran into this last week, I popped a few in the stove and listened to them pop, the rest I left out and most of the ants were gone the next day.. so I guess some birds are well? 🤣

I had an offer to get some EAB dead ash that was down, we just had to get it out of the woods. The first day we bucked everything up in certain lengths and the dragged it out with a cable with my truck, that was yesterday and we did two loads. Today I thought it would be an easy day until I saw my friend come around the corner with a wheelbarrow, with a smile he said, lets fill it up, so we did.

Our trailer wasn't used, the welds on the left hinge broke when I put the tailgate down when cleaning off the snow and the pine needles so since we had this planned, I rented a small 5 x 9 U-Haul open trailer for a few days.

The food picture is some chops with Utica Greens. The two pictures of the wood in the snow are the same picture.
