Wind storm knocked down a few years of firewood up the mountain... I have no reason to be bored in the near future.
I have a bunch of unsplit rounds, green Douglas Fir, there must be truth to them being easier to split frozen? How cold for how long do we figure to take advantage of easier frozen splitting?
Still really waiting for our first real freeze.🫤
...Yes split by hand...

We have a day of rain and strong winds starting tomorrow then cold. I cleaned the basement stove out and filled the garage back up with some locust and cut kindling for the coming weather.
