Geez. The new GF asked if she good turn on the HnG 6000 TRX-I & I told her that I needed to spiff it first. Well, she was busy running errands on Saturday so I decded to surprise her, but I'm the one who got the surprise. The damn ceramic fiber burner is cracked from front to back right through the burner "hump." So on Monday I called the Hearth Shop I used to work at & talked to the service writer. I asked him if there was a lifetime warranty on that particular burner & he told me nope - 10 years. So I asked what date I bought the unit. 12 October 2004! I was less than ONE MONTH away from the expiration date for the warranty! He's putting in the claim & I oughta have the new one in a week to 10 days. Sometimes I think there just might be a God..."Whew!" Can't imagine what they want for a NEW burner...
