Finished cutting, splitting and stacking the log load I had delivered back in February. Did all the splitting with an 8 lb. maul and an axe.
Used come small cedar logs and treated 2X4s I had laying around to make up the racks. The wood guy advertised the load as yielding
approx. 9 face cords, I got 8 1/2.

Absolutely. Saw an ad in the Plattsburgh paper the other day, guy will deliver a load of 14 ft unseasoned harwood logs that the ad says will yield 13 face cords for the same price I paid for the 9 face cord load. Will call him today
