After viewing John Gulland`s video (thanks to this wonderful site) think I`m gonna try that with a couple or cords that`s coming next month. Got one nice spot on this forested acreage where it can be stacked in a long, long row. Lots of sunshine!!

Normally I just chuck it into the woodshed after splitting,or stack it in there after splitting. Well, my burning ain`t going so well right now. Getting to the 18 month old stuff "fir 3by`s slabs" that I foolishly stacked right on top of one another. Even though the moisture content doesn`t measure over 25%,not getting much heat or a decent burn out of that stuff. You can see the mould and mildew on it as well. And this stuff was to be my prime Feburary fuel. Another lesson learned the hard way!!

*can someone reply to my earlier post (today, maybe a page or 2 back) about the cw2500x00i. I edited and updated it so it makes sense now, for those who viewed it previously.

Can you link the video in your post for us that dont know what your refering to I would like to see what your refering to.
