Had a little down time today.....

So I ran to the city compost and found this:

2 truck loads all pretty clean and fairly straight! First load I tossed in w/out cutting and they were heavy! Took the back up saw for the second run (to run some fresh fuel through it)! First took about 25 mins, second was about an hour, took some wrestling to dig some of it our to cut. Pretty easy +/- half cord!

I think there was some red and white oak, ash, elm, cherry, silver maple and birch.

That's a nice score. I have driven past our city mulch piles to see info could find anything worth while but have struck out every time.

As they say one mans trash is another mans treasure. Nice grab plus look at the space saved at the dump site for real compost!
