I had a chimney specialist that came highly recommend come out to replace my old clay lined chimney with Duravent class A.
They have had some hiccups and were unable to fully complete the project but said the stove was ready to burn as it was. I have been burned by just about every single company I have hired to do any sort of work for me, not just stove/chimney related work. So, as a habbit of necessity I always go behind them and verify everything has been done properly.
I had requested they install a new key damper as a precaution since I would be unacustomed to the draw on the new chimney. This is what I found on the connection to the stove to the new chimney.
