Our house came with a Circa 1994 Jamestown pellet stove.
This little stove is priceless and performs as needed for our 1500 sq ft house.
About 2 weeks ago, the combustion fan started making a terrible noise.
In my forum investigating, I found 2 things
1. Jamestown does not carry or has very limited supply of replacement parts. Also they are expensive.
2. Any part in the Jamestown stoves are replaceable via Grainger's.

My handy Andy buddy was able to disassemble and rebuild the combustion fan for about $10.

All it needed was bearings. He replaced them with ceramics.

I now expect another many years of warmth and saved thousands of dollars.

Get a handy Andy type friend and never throw this stove away!
