I'm replacing an old gas fireplace with a new unit as part of our remodel. I've been shown Mendota Hearth, Napoleon Valor, and Kozy Heat Units. I'm leaning toward the Mendota ML39, but I don't know anything about performance, reputation, or reliability for these companies. I've never bought a fireplace before--so I haven't a clue. Can you give me any feedback? Like pros and cons, tradeoffs? Thanks in advance!
