I'm considering installing a C350 Winterport in my existing masonry fireplace. I know from reading other threads that there are strong opinions on both sides of the OAK issue, so I don't want to rehash that. I simply want to know if the Winterport has a method for supplying outside combustion air. The manual that Jotul has online doesn't make any reference to it, but the exploded parts diagram seems to indicate that there may be one.

Thanks in advance.

There is no provision to hook in an OAK. I presume you are refering to the vent on the back of the stove in the parts diagram? The vent on the bottom of the backside of the stove is for the secondary combustion tubes.

Yes, the diagram lists a secondary air channel, and it makes perfect sense now that it is for the secondary combustion. Thanks for the response!
