Can anyone tell me the actual dimensions of the Super 27 firebox, and the Summit firebox?

I know one is 2.1cf, and the other is 3cf.

All I can tell from the website is the Summit is 1.5 inches wider.

Where does the extra 0.9 cubic feet come from?

I think the firebox o the Summit is more than 1-1/5" wider than the Super.
The Summit has 4 full width firebicks plus the channel in the center.

Super firebox (slightly estimated): 19" deep, 15" wide, 11" high (pretty confident with the first two, the last one based on the firebrick length + metal support for baffle). In support of Hog's post: The Super has only 3 firebricks plus airchannel in the back.

Hogz nailed it, my brother has a t6 and his box is at least 3 or 4 inches wider than my t5... mine is slightly deeper than his. not much.. like a inch.

Thanks for the replys. The PE website only shows the outer dimensions of the stoves themselves, not the firebox measurements. I see the Summit can take 20 inch wood, vs the Super 27's 18, but I wasn't sure where the other space comes from.

I am still trying to decide which stove to buy for my new house, and all input is appreciated.

Just bought a super, 9*F out right now 77*F inside my leaky 1560 sqft house, 5-7 hours of good heat output with well over 8 hours with nice hot coals for fast restarts.
