Couldn't stand it any longer - there's still snow around the edges, but it retreated enough that my splitter & pile of white birch I cut & dumped late last fall was finally free from it. It was a cold damp day - but I just had to get that splitter running again. This was about 4 hours or so later - enough for the first day back at it. My back appreciates going vertical from a comfy seat.

Giving it a good once over, extending the log cradles, and re-routing the hoses are on the to-do list for this spring - if it ever really gets here.
