Supposed to hit 90 degrees this weekend, here in the Mitten. We're fully in backyard campfire mode at this point. Likely won't have a fire in the stove again until October.

I have a bunch of pine, box elder, and cottonwood that I'll be using up for bonfires until then.
 
High of 55 today. Small breakin fire in the new Jotul F100 and might as well have a small fire in the Fireview as well right?

I see you're burning horizontal in the summer time, does it draft better?:)

Ha yeah don’t know what happened there.
Thanks for the nice cool weather, it feels like fall in the morning the last couple of days but after the hot stretch we had, we love it.

Breezy today with a high in the upper 50’s. Forecast low of 40 tonight, probably get a bit colder than that.

3/4 load of Aspen in the Fireview this evening to keep the cabin toasty.

Also a small load of Oak in the new refurbed Jotul F100 out in the workshop just to break her in.
