catalytic probe thermometer

I would like to get a probe thermometer for the combutor on my old hearthstone harvest, but I dont know how long it needs to be (there is very little info on this model on the net) and im not sure how to properly measure it.

I would appreciate any help

And also I have already tried calling hearthstones customer service number many times and have not yet even gotten a real person on the phone.

Do you have the manual? May be some info in there. You may also want to talk with Condar, they may know what size is required.
