We are going to upgrade the forum software on Sunday night, Sept 1, 2013.
It's likely that the forum will be down for up to one hour during this time - also, it will look differently when it comes back online, as some of our customizations will probably disappear.
We will put humpty-dumpty back together again and also list out the new features...AFTER the basic working forums are back up.
There are some nice improvements including a better editor (where you write and reply) as well as the ability to search conversations, etc.
