I just bought a used Jotel stove that looks exactly like a Black Bear in size and shape but I can't find any pix of it that are like what I'm seeing in the Jotel catalog. Size and shape are the same, but the decorations on the outside are different. Pic below is what I've got (not my stove, but that's a pic I found of it)
I'm wondering if I can use the "Jotel F118CB" owners manual in terms of specs and clearances??
Thanks,
drewlou

If you can't definitely say that it's a JOTUL F118 Black Bear,
I'd say you have to fall back on NFPA-211 for ALL clearances.

Yup. Looks like a Taiwan knockoff by Scandia, not a Jotul. It requires 36" clearance in all directions unless there is NFPA211 wall shielding in place.
