Does the flue collar on the Jotul F55 line up with the back of the stove?

My double wall stove pipe is 6 1/2" from the wall. If I install an F55 to my stove pipe, will the back of the F55 be at least 6" from the wall? According to the clearance specs, I need to be at least 6" away from the back wall using double wall stove pipe and the supplied heat shield.

I don't own one but it certainly looks that way.

[Hearth.com] Jotul F55 Question

The Oslo does and I believe the flue is the same casting (but not sure). The collar actually sticks out behind the back of the stove. It's covered up in the illustration by the heat shield which isn't factored into clearances.

I'd very much appreciate if someone with the F55 or F50 could check their stove to confirm. I don't have one locally that I can check. All I have is the same drawing begreen provided. BTW, thank you begreen!

I have an uninstalled F55, but it's still in the packing crate. I should be moving it in about two weeks if you can wait...

It does line up with the back on my F50. There is a heat shroud to be installed though which does go into that 6" area, but its of no concern when it comes to the heat clearance dimensions. The flue is my biggest gripe with this stove. Running double wall black up to the cathedral support box, and the damn transition pipe from the stove does not sit perfectly level on the cast flue. I think I am going to have to slightly cut the front lowest lip of the pipe, so I can angle this forward a bit to make it level. I'll take a photo in a bit

Ok, a bit tough to tell from this angle, but the stove adapter is kicked back slightly...and I dont like it. Dont mind the half disassembled chimney... gone soon :)

I also have the f55 and I don't have the issue of the adapter being off level. It looks from the picture that your stove pipe is too close to the wall and your stove too far forward. If that's not the case I'd contact jotul. Perhaps your adaptor is made incorrectly.
